Angkrish Raghuvanshi, a promising 20-year-old right-handed top-order batter from Mumbai, continues to make significant strides with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. After a notable debut in 2024, where he contributed to KKR’s championship win, Raghuvanshi was retained by the franchise for INR 30 lakh, reflecting the team’s confidence in his abilities.

Raghuvanshi first gained attention during the 2022 Under-19 World Cup, emerging as India’s highest run-scorer with 278 runs from six innings. His transition to the IPL was marked by a solid performance in the 2024 season, where he played 10 matches, scoring 163 runs at an average of 23.29 and a strike rate of 155.24. His highest score that season was 54 runs. ​

In the opening match of the 2025 IPL season, KKR faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Despite a challenging game where KKR posted a total of 174-8 and RCB chased down the target in 16.2 overs, Raghuvanshi showcased his potential by contributing a brisk 30 runs. This innings highlighted his ability to perform under pressure and his readiness to take on key roles within the batting lineup.​
